On Sunday January 8 – the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord – the Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Murang’a presided over Catholic Diocese of Murang’a ‘s (CDM) inauguration and declaration of the ๐๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐.
The launch and declaration took place during the first Family Day celebrations of Epiphany of the Lord Wang’uru Catholic Parish, which was inaugurated on June 11, 2022.
To be celebrated under the ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐, “๐ ๐๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐” (๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐:๐๐), the Year will have ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฌ:

During the launch attended by representatives from the Diocese’s 53 Parishes ,the bishop received and blessed the logo, banner, prayer and guidelines’ books that will be used throughout the Year.
The launch of the Year of the Eucharist 2023 comes after the Diocese successfully celebrated the ๐๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐๐ under the theme, “Go therefore, make disciples of all nations, and be my witness” (Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8).
